Tapioca stammt aus Asien und Südamerika und wird aus Manioc hergestellt. Es ist die Basis für zahlreiche Nachtische, wie zum Beispiel Tapioca-Pudding und man findet Tapioca-Perlen auch oft in Bubble Teas.
